2010 Merlot

The 2010 is a blend of Merlot (85%) with a small amount of Cabernet Sauvignon (15%). It is fermented in French oak—33% new—for 18 months before being bottled in the spring, then bottle-aged for an additional 18 months before release.
"Plush, with red currant and toasty oak aromas and rich black cherry, mocha, and olive flavors that finish with supple tannins." — Tim Fish, Wine Spectator
"This Paloma 2010 Merlot is a balanced, supple, richly fruity wine with loads of plum fruits. In the mouth, the wine is luscious with wild berries. The unique characteristics of mountain terroir are presented in the wine by its dense, rich, ripe, fruit-forward nature and mature, soft tannins." –– Sheldon Richards, Wine Maker
